Sparta, TN: Northfield Vineyards Wedding - Will and Tyler
Tyler had moved to Cookeville from 3 hours away and got a job at a local restaurant as a bartender. She didn’t know anyone at first. In fact, due to Will’s shy personality, she didn’t even know who he was for 2 months even though Will had a job at the same place as a bouncer. It wasn’t until she joined a slow-pitch softball team that she noticed him. Will, however, knew right away he was going to marry Tyler shortly after meeting her. Over the course of 2 years, through softball and having a mutual friend, a relationship blossomed into a deep love. When Will decided to ask Tyler to marry him he planned the moment down to the date he would pop the question. Then, at a friend's property, he took Tyler for a walk at sunset in a field and asked her to be his wife.
The couple’s wedding day dawned bright and brisk. The couple got ready at their home and the house of a friend. Even though Tyler had planned her wedding so well that everything ran as smooth as clockwork, nerves and anxious feelings ran high for Tyler as she got ready. Will and Tyler had chosen to wait to see each other until the altar, but they wrote each other letters to be exchanged while getting ready. When they each read their letters, laughter was mingled with tears for both. In fact, Tyler visibly began to relax and enjoy their day. Nerves turned into excitement as the day progressed, the Champagne flowed, and she slipped into her dress.
Before they knew it, it was time to head to the church. Flickering candles, white linen, and plants graced surfaces all over the auditorium while soft music played in the background. There, with an auditorium full of their favorite people and Will standing at the altar wiping his eyes, Tyler walked down the aisle on the arm of her Dad to marry her love with her long flowing veil trailing behind her.
Amid a crowd throwing lavender seeds, the couple left for their reception at the Northfield Vineyard in a friend’s convertible. When they arrived, music could be heard rolling over the countryside with the sun setting against the background of the vineyards and rolling fields with daffodils and barns. The temperature may have dropped when the sun set, but with all the dancing and a firepit, people seemed to barely notice.
Will and Tyler, it was such a pleasure to meet you both and be a part of your forever memories. I am still amazed at how smoothly your day ran and how great the day was! You were both so much fun and great sports despite the cool temperatures. I hope God allows you both to have a lifetime of amazing memories and moments together!
