Winter Wedding: Algood, Tennessee - Dustin and Kandace
They met in second grade at a class at church. Over the years of attending the same church together, Kandace and Dustin became good friends. Kandace had a secret crush on Dustin in eighth grade, but nothing much ever amounted from it. Kandace moved away to Chattanooga for a little while to go to college, but they remained in touch. In fact, they tried to play matchmaker for Kandaces's brother. However, instead of their siblings getting together, in was Kandace and Dustin who ended up falling in love.
Anyone who knows Kandace and Dustin will tell you that they both are a lot alike. They are thoughtful, tenderhearted, and giving people. Dustin is also a very determined person. When he decided to propose to Kandace, he had it planned down to the last detail. When they reached the top of the ski lift in Gatlinburg, he got down on one knee, ring in hand.
The night of their wedding was frigid. Outside, however, inside was all warm and cozy with candles burning and evergreen décor simply draped over doorways of the quaint church they had met at all those years ago. Dustin’s father led the ceremony and told their love story in detail with kind words about them both. The couple had decided to go with a great Gatsby style for their reception. Dim lights created a romantic mood along with lit candles and beads. True to their normal thoughtfulness they even had a hot chocolate bar for people to warm up with.
Dustin and Kandace, it was a pleasure to be a part or your whirlwind day and learn about your sweet love story. I love the fact of how easy going you both were about everything. It was plain to see what fun loving, giving people you both are. I hope that you always remain that way with each other!
