Fall Wedding at The Clark House: Livingston, TN - Brandon and Megan
Megan and Brandon met around 2 years ago through a supervisor at work when they both lived in Alabama. They first started talking on Facebook, then things progressed and they started staying later at work. Brandon was pretty shy and it took him quite a while to ask Megan for her phone number. In fact, he waited to ask for a date until just before he moved back to Tennessee. They hit it off and decided to date long distance.
At the end of last November Brandon made elaborate surprise proposal plans: going out, flowers, sushi, and a ring. However, his excitement got the best of him and he just couldn’t wait once the ring was in his pocket, and ended up proposing spur of the moment.
Brandon’s excitement carried over to the wedding day and oozed from him while waiting for the first glimpse of his bride on their October wedding day. When He saw Megan, he couldn’t take his eyes off her and a smile was on his face the rest of the day. The way they both made each other laugh was evident while giving each other a hard time for being so apt to blink when a picture was snapped.
You couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather the day that Megan and Brandon chose for their wedding. The clouds kept the warm sun at bay and the hint of fall was in the air. Colors were bursting forth from the trees as Tennessee showed off fall at its peak. The couple chose to have a small, intimate ceremony officiated by Brandon’s grandfather under an arch outside at The Clark House. There with their closest family and friends they read vows they had written each other and committed their lives to each other.
Brandon and Megan, a couple that can laugh together already has a leg up in marriage. I loved the fact that you even asked for blooper pictures and like the imperfect as well as the perfect. Thank you both for allowing me to be a small part of your perfect day. You both were so sweet and made my job a breeze. When we got back in the car my daughter commented “You could really tell they love each other.” And I couldn’t agree more. I hope you both have a lifetime of laughter and love.
