Livingston, Tennessee Mountain View Wedding: Tyler and Rachel Cronk

Tyler had planned proposing to Rachel down to the last detail. He waited till they were vacationing at the beach. Despite Rachel’s brother nicknaming the ring “the boob” …for reasons still yet unclear….and talking about it in front of her, Rachel had no clue what Tyler had hidden in his class ring box. In fact, she was quite indignant when he asked her if she had anything nicer to wear for a walk out on the beach with friends and family. She huffed, but complied. Then, with the romantic sound of waves splashing at their feet, he proposed to his high school sweetheart.

Change the backdrop 100% almost 2 years later to rolling Tennessee hills on a family farm with one of the most extensive mountain views in Overton County. If you just stood back and watched you would hear soft tones of country love songs playing and the hum of happy, excited voices of people who have grown up together and genuinely love each other. There was no tension of any kind, just lots of love and smiles.

Small things all day long spoke to how much their family adored each of them. From Rachel’s brothers doting on her, Tyler’s brother giving him a bear hug, to Rachel and her father’s secret handshake when he gave her away. Dry eyes were scarce during the hugs after Rachel and Tyler came back down the aisle. Family. Friends. From proposal story to their wedding day you could tell how important each was to Tyler and Rachel. You could also tell at the wedding the feeling was mutual. Tyler and Rachel, while I’m sorry about the circumstances surrounding why you had to contact me last minute, I am so very grateful that it ended up being me that you chose to spend your long anticipated day with. I enjoyed every minute. It is easy to see why both of your families adore you and your friends love you. Rachel you were stunning, and Tyler you were perfect to work with. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love!

The impression you get after spending time with Rachel and Tyler is they are a great fit and complement each other.

I fell in love with the red barn for many reasons. One, it was beautiful and the perfect background. Two, it blocked the wind and helped warm us up!

So in love with everything about this shot.

Details, Details, details…

That moment that comes too soon as a mom.

Girl! Simply gorgeous! You rocked it!

The bond between these girls was amazing.

I think Tyler did a pretty awesome job picking the ring out all by himself.

Tyler and Rachel chose to do a first look and pictures before the wedding. Just another reason they rock.

My second shooter Ashley caught this angle of the first look.

While they did decide to do pictures before hand, they also decided to wait to kiss till the ceremony. I think this was to my advantage for some pretty awesome pictures.

One of my favorite moments from the day caught by Ashley. It’s clear to see what a close bond Rachel and her dad have.

The moment that is in every parents mind from the first time you hold your child.

Their secret handshake when he gave her away was hilarious!

Mr. and Mrs. Cronk and ever so happy.

It was such a tender moment when her daddy hugged her for the first time as Mrs. Cronk instead of his little girl.

Not only is the bond between Rachel and her Dad strong, but also between her and her brothers.

Tyler’s brother may be smaller, but he can give a mean bear hug.

So many tears and tender moments after the ceremony.

I think you can tell who the baby is!

This crew was such an amazing group of friends and family.

Life long friends.

I had to include this one just for the look on Tyler's face.

Did I mention how awesome and fun this group was?

Rachel didn't want to be left out.

The sun finally came out just in time to warm people up while eating.

This was such a neat photo prop they set up as a backdrop for guests to have a polaroid picture taken which they signed and put in the guest book.

Another special touch. I think this has to be my favorite guest favor yet.

Pies and Cake? What's not to love?

Had to snap a few after the reception with the sun....
