Livingston, TN Country Church Wedding: Justin and Laura
He proposed one day while fishing.
Sweethearts since their Sophomore year in high school, Laura and Justin have actually known each other a lot longer. Their story together actually started 11 years ago. Then while out fishing on his boat one day, Justin asked Laura to get something out of the compartment. When she opened it, a lure was dangling there for her to see. She found the lure, but she also found a proposal. You see, Justin custom paints fishing lures for people. When he decided to propose to Laura, he painted a lure with the words "Will you marry me?” on it. He then hung it in the compartment on his bass boat. When she looked up, he was down on one knee in front of her.
Shortly thereafter, their family and friends gathered under heavy clouds at a quaint little church in the
country. They watched the double doors swing open and Laura walk down the aisle, lip quivering, to her beaming high school sweetheart. There, in a very short ceremony, Laura and Justin pledged the rest of their lives to each other. Before they knew it, they were headed back down the aisle as man and wife. It may have rained on and off all day, but hey, who needs the sun when you have such bright, happy smiles?
They spent the evening in the glow of twinkle lights and later sparklers, enjoying time and dances with each other and all their loved ones.
Justin and Laura, anyone can see what a good fit you are for each other. I enjoyed getting to know both of you and also getting to meet your sweet dog, Bella. Thank you for putting up with me and all my ideas in the rain and for being willing to do whatever crazy idea I had. I wish you a life time of happiness. With much warmth, Charity
