Gainesboro, Tennessee Country Barn Wedding - Jonah and Emily

Volleyball.

Well that and a little help from a brother is what brought them together. Emily had sworn off boys. Told everyone she hated guys. Still, while playing volleyball a certain guy caught her attention. He at least made her open to the possibility that maybe she might be wrong. Not just any guy can make a girl’s smile light up the room.

One year later after a walk in her favorite park, Jonah bent down on one knee and changed Emily’s mind for good. Shortly after that, they dressed into a white dress and a gray suit as they prepared to marry in front of their closest friends and family. With a spectacular view on Jonah’s family farm, their family watched Jonah stand nervously waiting for his bride, Emily getting choked up saying her vows, and two very blissful people commit their lives to each other. There is something spectacular about watching two separate people vow to become one. After an almost giddy trip back down the aisle, they spent the rest of the evening under twinkle lights hugging, eating, and enjoying time with their loved ones in the huge barn on the farm.

Emily and Jonah, thank you for trusting me with your special day. I love you and am so happy for you both! I pray you both grow super old together, may you keep making each other’s smile light up the room while growing more deeply in love, and of course have me lots of nieces and nephews to spoil. With much love and appreciation - Charity

The details of the wedding were just stunning...Emily and her sister made her bouquet out of white carnations and Emily had a gorgeous A-lined, lace covered dress.

Is there anything as picture perfect as a red barn in a field?

The ceremony was set in the field off to the side of the barn.

Baby's breath was everywhere...

All of the super cute signs were made by their family friend, Brenda Keisling.

Instead of a unity candle, Emily and Jonah decided to braid a cord.

Emily surrounded herself with her Mom and sisters while getting ready.

Emily you really have no idea how stunning you are....seriously.

Sisters. Best friends.

Jonah getting a first look at his bride was made even more special by his father being by his side. His dad had a serious accident a few months back. They weren't sure if he would be able to be Jonah's best man.

Emily getting ready to walk down the aisle.

I'm sure it's never easy for a father to give away his little girl.

It may look like a large crowd for an "intimate" wedding, but they both have very large immediate families. Emily is one of 12 and Jonah is one of 9.

It was so sweet when Emily got teary-eyed while Jonah said his vows to her.

The ring bearer during the prayer. Priceless!

So excited to be Mrs. Leggett...

You can tell how in love they are...

After the walked down the aisle, they took a few minutes to themselves to bask in the moment...and shed a few tears. :-)

Such a gorgeous couple

Cinderella's fairytale

I can't stress how awesome this barn was.

What is a barn wedding without a little hay??

This A-mazingly delicious cake was made by another friend of the bride, Michelle Bloodsworth. Chocolate inside and almond flavored icing is a very delicious combo.

Lots of lace, lots of burlap, and lots of twinkle lights.

Emily and Jonah's family did a stunning job on all the decor!

Simply magical!

I think they were just enjoying the thought of finally being married.

They were very nice feeding cake to each other.

Perfect end to the perfect wedding....
